Eastmont Elementary School Reviews

I love Eastmont, and my son does as well. They offer free tutoring (online and in-class) to try to improve test scores. My son didn't need it, but we did take a advantage of it and he had a great time. I love the structured environment, and they give the parents so many ways to be interactive. My son is looking forward to going into the second grade there this fall. My brothers (now in their mid-twenties) also attended Eastmont and have fond memories. Eastmont is a wonderful school!

I too had was hesitant when my children started in Dayton schools. However, Eastmont has been a great experience. The teachers, principal and staff are all very involved with the education of the children. Go Eastmont!

Eastmont now has the K to 8 program. And there is some parental involemnet when the principal steps out of the way. He is trying to turn the scores around by cutting the kids play time.

I was ready for the worst being Dayton Public School. But this school and Mr. Jordan proved me wrong. I was quite pleased with my daughter's teacher and the level of work that she brought home. I was also pleased with the type of studies that were being taught to a Kindergardener. I had trouble with office personal. I went to principal Jordan and the problem was corrected. This would have been the only negitive situation I experienced with Eastmont School

The quality of academic programs at Eastmont is Average. Being a Dayton City school, it is one of the best ~ which is quite sad. So far we have been lucky with the school, due to my children being young. However, the older they get, the more anxious we get to get out of the Dayton School District. Music, Art, and P.E. is offered here. P.E. is ok. Art and Music is AWFUL. In Art, they sometimes do work, however, art work still has not come home. Parent involvement, With my children it is high. I am very involved and the teachers and principle know me, because I let them know I am an involved parent. I do hope the other parents do the same.
