Springfield Acad of Excellence Reviews

My interaction with the school has been very positive. My children love the school. The staff and board members care about the success of the children. They work hard making decisions that will benefit the students. As a former employee I have seen first hand how the school is ran.Their mission is to nuture the whole child, Parents are encouraged to particpate all the time! S.A.E's curriculm is second to none. My children have excelled academically and in state test. If a child should fall behind there are many options the school gives a parent to take advantage of. They focus on the child's strength and build from there. By January of my daughter's 1st grade year she was able to read chapter books and know parts of speech. How's that? The school has enabled my son to be more prpared for middle school, and passing the state required test.

My daughter went here for half a year. The teacher was great that she had, but the school in general is horrible! No set disciple. Kids hitting each other, running in hallway screaming. Made it hard for my child to learn. Staff here did not want any outside help from parents. Want to keep it in the 'Church'. Was very disappointed by the way the school was run. Kids had to walk at least a good 2 city blocks to play at a gym. Very disappointed!
