Biography:
After on and off songwriting for over 2 years, Jeremy Atkins completed his first album, "Walk With You." It is filled with lucious harmonies, soothing piano ballads, and catchy lyrics. The songs reflect his love and reverence for God's love and the path that we must walk every day to follow God. Jeremy has a strong piano ability and his vocal range fits the song style and lyrics displayed on this album. "I wanted to create an album that Christians and non-Christians could listen and relate to. The only reason to create an album like this is to witness to others in a way that is new yet relevant to today's society, " Jeremy said. What makes Jeremy's music unique is that each song he writes comes from an aspect of his life. His ability to play both by ear and by reading musical notation is a rare but undoubtedly a God-given talent. For the past 20 years Jeremy has played the piano and has given several recitals and concerts at area churches. He was named "Most Talented" in his 1997 Senior Class and won the John Phillip Sousa Band Award the same year. Jeremy has brought home several Superior ratings from the Junior Music Festivals at Berry College in Rome, GA and today continues composing and writing songs. Jeremy has also performed at special events. In 1996 after the death of a friend, Rebecca Lumsden, Jeremy wrote a song about her life and performed it at her memorial service. Jeremy was the pianist for West Rome Christian Church in Rome, Georgia for 7 years and today he resides in Dayton, OH with his wife and Miniature Schnauzer
