Uncaring

My good friend took her dog there and left her to be treated and they ordered all kinds of unnecessary proceedures that she didn't approve. It cost her almost $800.00. When she complained about it, the clinic knocked $60.00 off the bill. I took my beloved basset there to ask if they could cremate him. They were rude and dismissive. I drove him over to the Animal Hospital on Delco Park Drive and was treated with kindness and compassion. They handled his body as though he were alive. I would not take any of my animals to the South Dayton Veterinary Clinic.

Pros:

Cons: Rude People/ Run Unapproved Tests

Dr. Dan is the best! Another vet told us our dog had a stroke and he probably wasn't going to make it. Dr. Dan knew what to do and 8 months later our dog is doing great. The staff if pleasant and the office is nice. I would recommend Dr. Dan to everyone.

Pros: nice office, friendly staff and Dr. Dan is great

Wonderful in a time of need!

We moved to the area a few months ago. Our parakeet was badly injured last week when it was stepped on. I had a hard time finding a Vet who would help him until I called Dayton South Vet Clinic. They told me to bring him in. The office looks wonderful from the moment you walk in. It is open, sunny, has a pond and plants. The staff is so kind, concerned, and helpful. The checked my parakeet out thoroughly and then gave him medicine and good instructions on how to take care of him. When I called later in the day still worried about him they listened and had me bring him back in. They gave him some more treatment and told me to call or come back if I was still worried. They called me the next morning just to check on him. My parakeet has made great progress in the last few days thanks to all the great help we received. The office also has great hours. I would recommend this Vet to everyone.

Pros: Great people, good hours, helpful, good parking, nice office

Cons: none
